How to get from Fiumicino Airport to Rome

From the airport you can easily reach the center of Rome. There are several options: cheaper and more expensive. In all cases, you will reach the very center - Termini Train Station.

From Rome-Fiumicino Airport Leonardo da Vinci (L'aeroporto di Roma-Fiumicino) provides easy access to the center of Rome. There are several options: cheaper and more expensive. In all cases, you will reach the very center - Termini Train Station.

Taxi

You will be taken by taxi for € 48-70. It is very beneficial if you are 3-4 people.

It’s better to pre-order a transfer to rome "> Kiwitaxi. You will be met at the airport with a sign, and if the plane is delayed, then they will wait.

A train

Leonardo Express

Termini Station can be reached without stops by Leonardo Express train. A ticket costs € 14, travel time is 31 minutes. Interval of train traffic - 30 min. At the airport, follow the signs for the train on a yellow background that says Train. On them for 5-10 minutes you will reach the railway station. There, buy a ticket at the box office or on your own at the ticket machine.

Regional trains line FL1

Regional trains of the FL1 line (Treni regionali linea FL1) run from Fiumicino Aeroporto to Fara Sabina / Orte and make stops in Rome: Trastevere, Ostiense (metro line B), Tuscolana (metro line A), Tiburtina (metro line A), Nomentana. Ticket price € 8. Travel time is approximately 50 minutes. Interval - 15 minutes Use this train to save money or if your hotel is closer to these stations.

And now the cheapest way is to take the Bus Shuttle for just € 5! Sent about once every half an hour. There are several stops along the way. If you are with a backpack, you can immediately start exploring the city. You can buy a ticket at www.sitbusshuttle.com.

At the airport, follow the signs for Bus Station

At the bus station go up to number 3

Get in line and buy a ticket from the conductor

Enjoy a cheap ride

That's all! Nothing complicated.

Terravision

The Terravision bus runs to Termini Station every 30 minutes. A ticket costs € 5, travel time is 55 minutes.

The stop is located next to the exits of the terminal 3 of the arrivals hall. Follow the signs for Bus Station. Information on the website www.terravision.eu.

Cotral

Cotral bus stops in Rome: Piazza dei Cinquecento, Tiburtina, Cornelia (metro line A), Eur-Magliana (metro line B).

The bus stops opposite Terminal 2, Arrivals. Follow the signs for Regional Bus Station. Information on the website www.cotralspa.it.

Termini Station can also be reached by T.A.M. S.r.l. (www.tambus.it) and Atral-Schiaffini (www.romeairportbus.com).
