Italy Lottery 2013: € 5 million winnings

The lucky winner of the lottery ticket, which won 5 million euros in the Italy lottery 2013, was a resident of the Italian province of Lecco in the Lombardia region.

Thus, Madame Luck rewarded the Lombardy region, where since 2002 there have been no major wins. That year turned out to be very happy for one of the inhabitants of the province of Rho, which is located near Milan: then he hit the jackpot and claimed 5 million euros.

Yesterday, the lottery organizers finally held the long-awaited prize draw. In order to maintain the intrigue and increase the tension of those Italians who had previously bought a ticket and now eagerly clung to the TV screens, the stars of Italian TV were invited to the studio, which entertained the audience until the lucky combination of the past 2013 was retrieved.

So, the results of the drawing revealed the winners of the country's most popular lottery: 5 million euros went to the province of Lecco, 2 million euros to the province of Casoria, 1.5 million euros to Turin. Tickets with smaller amounts of money were bought at Aquilla, Lucca and Palermo. After the results were announced, the organizers of the lottery immediately began to search for the lucky who became richer by 5 million. As a result, it was found that a lucky ticket was purchased in Lecco at the Valsecchi tobacco kiosk on Via Cairoli, which is located right in the heart of the town.

By the way, in December last year, a Canadian pensioner hit the headlines, who was lucky enough to hit the jackpot in one of the lotteries and win $ 40 million. 65-year-old Tom Crist, who bought a winning ticket from the local Western Canada Lottery, surprised everyone and everyone when it became clear what the pensioner spent the win on.

A noble man gave all the money that literally fell on him from heaven, to charity, explaining his act by the fact that he simply does not need such a large amount.

Krist said that in his life he managed to earn a sufficient amount of funds for a carefree old age. A couple of years ago, Tom had a spouse who died of cancer, so a pensioner donated part of the money won to the cancer center.

As Canadian media reported, Krist learned that he became a millionaire when he played golf with friends. However, the lucky one was in no hurry to share the good news with everyone around him. Neither friends nor the Krista family knew that he won the lottery for almost $ 40 million. The pensioner explained this by the fact that he simply could not imagine what to do with such a huge amount of money. Later, when he found use for them, he talked about all the members of his family, and they unconditionally supported him.
