Limone Piemonte is an old ski resort in the Southwestern Alps, which since the beginning of the 19th century has been pleasing its visitors with a variety of slopes and a developed tourist infrastructure. This amazing place is located at the junction of the borders of Italy and France, and combines the cultures of both countries. The resort has many nature reserves and parks, perfect for hiking, horseback riding and simple walks. The hilly landscapes of the Maritime Alps, large chilling lakes, many ancient castles at the foot of the mountain make the resort surprisingly beautiful both in winter and at other times of the year.

About the resort

Limone Piemonte is a city where, thanks to the preserved medieval buildings, visitors can enjoy not only incredibly beautiful views of the Southern Alps, but also spend their time on excursions to historical monuments. At night, the commune burns with thousands of lights, and if you watch it from the side, it may seem as if the fire is burning between two huge ranges.

The settlement has a total of 1,500 inhabitants, most of whom are employed in the tourism sector, so finding a house and an instructor will not be a problem for you. The temperature at the resort in winter is around -4 degrees and very rarely drops below. In the summer, it rises to +20 degrees.

Skiing

The amazing slopes of the "White Reserve" include about 80 km of tracks of various types and complexity. Therefore, Limone Piemonte is very popular among lovers of family vacations.

The resort has 40 slopes with different levels of slopes. Of these, 26 red slopes are ideal for experienced skiers and will not let them get bored in the valley of the Colle di Tenda pass.

Thanks to seven blue slopes of medium difficulty, visitors have the opportunity to go down a long descent and enjoy the speed. The absence of sharp slopes makes the passage through these sections more relaxed and enjoyable, and thanks to long direct exits, they make it possible to fully enjoy the picturesque beauties of the southwestern Alps.

For professionals, there are 7 black slopes equipped with sharp turns and drops. All routes laid about three ridges. The central one is Limone, has a height of 1400 meters and lies between two other, higher. There is also a children's park and a ski school with a special gentle slope, where any novice skier can improve their skills.

In the resort of Limone Piemonte, a single ski pass is valid for all routes.

For children aged 7 to 14 years, the cost of a weekly ski pass is 141 euros, for an adult, this price is slightly higher, 191 euros. The cost of a ski pass for the weekend is 34/25 euros per adult / child, respectively.

Après ski

The developed infrastructure of Lemon Piemonte will not let your guests get bored. After skiing, tourists can relax in the local alpine restaurants - right next to the slopes there are many similar establishments.

How to get there

Lemone Piedmont is located quite close to both Turin and Nice. Therefore, getting to this commune will not be any problem for you. By bus
